Anonymity, Privacy, and other notes about this Web Site

This site is neither approved nor endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. It is provided as a service to the Hamilton community by the Hamilton Inter-District Operating Committee of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Hamilton Inter-District Operating Committee Web site practices all aspects of AA's 12 Traditions, particularly including those on anonymity.

(In keeping with AA's General Service Conference's suggested guidelines for Intergroup Web sites, we've added "The Internet" to the list that includes, "press, radio, and films.")

To further ensure the privacy and anonymity of AA members — or anyone else who may visit this site — we've also taken some additional steps:

• There are no "persistent HTTP cookies" originating from this site.
• At no time now or in the future will this site ever query your computer for its unique ID code.
• No information that may be entered into any of the forms found throughout the site is collected or stored on the Web server. It is sent immediately as an e-mail message directly to the Hamilton Central Office, where it is dealt with appropriately. As  such, it is no different than if you submitted a form by surface mail, personal delivery, or fax.
